Chad McLaren, a dedicated Realtor and Auctioneer specializing in Land, Ranches, and Recreational properties, brings a wealth of expertise rooted in his family’s legacy of rural land investment in Texas. As a 4th generation Texan born and raised in Austin, Chad’s early exposure to land stewardship and real estate brokerage fueled his passion for these fields.

A proud graduate of both the University of Denver and Texas A&M University, Chad holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and Spanish, as well as a Master’s Degree in Agribusiness. Kicking off his real estate career in Colorado after graduating from DU, Chad later returned to his home state in 2016 to continue his journey as a land broker. In 2018, he achieved his Texas Auctioneer license through the Texas Auction Academy, showcasing his commitment to understanding the intricacies of the Auction industry. Chad collaborates with clients to successfully sell personal property, ranging from farm and ranch equipment to construction materials.

Currently residing in Austin, TX, with his wife Erica and their two bird dogs, Maverick and Zoe, Chad embodies the Texan spirit. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is an enthusiastic whitetail and waterfowl hunter, dedicating his free time to outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, fishing, and overseeing his family’s ranches in Milam and Bastrop Counties.

Chad actively engages with various associations, including Ducks Unlimited, Texas Alliance of Land Brokers, Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, Austin Woods and Waters Club, Texas Wildlife Association, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and the National Association of Realtors.
