Joe Carr is a lifelong resident of East Texas, having spent his formative years in the rural town of Mineola. With a strong educational background and a deep appreciation for his community, Joe has become a respected figure in the region.

After graduating with honors from Mineola High School, Joe went on to pursue higher education at Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. Throughout his academic journey, Joe displayed a passion for learning and a drive for excellence.

Joe is happily married to his wife, Sammie Carr, and together they are proud parents to two daughters, Kenley and Brayley. As a devoted family man, Joe values the importance of strong familial bonds and instilling core values in his children.

The Carr Family is deeply rooted in Mineola, owning and operating several successful businesses that contribute to the local economy. Carr Construction LLC, Carr Land & Cattle Co., and Carr Land Development LLC are prominent entities in the community. Through these ventures, Joe exemplifies his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to the growth and prosperity of the region. Throughout his years, he has also done many construction jobs within many hunting and fishing clubs.

Recognizing the significance of agriculture and the value of the land, Joe actively supports local organizations that promote the development of youth in the community. He devotes his time and energy to initiatives such as the Quitman Young Farmers, Wood County Junior Livestock Show Board of Directors, and the Texas Hereford Association. Joe’s involvement in these organizations demonstrates his commitment to nurturing the next generation and fostering a thriving agricultural community.

With firsthand experience in managing a commercial cattle operation and Registered Herefords, Joe possesses comprehensive knowledge of farm and ranch land. His well-rounded understanding of the industry contributes to his success and positions him as a trusted authority in the field.
