BIO

Kathleen Blanks grew up in the once small town of Prosper, Texas, which, like many Texas towns, has more than tripled in size over the last decade. Her father, who was determined to make a tomboy out of Kathleen, began taking her on hunts from the time she was just four years old. She has been hooked ever since. When she wasn’t hunting or fishing, she was fulfilling her other passion, gymnastics. After high school she went to the University of Arkansas and joined their gymnastics team. However, her training and career in gymnastics came to an end because her passion and love for the outdoors, along with past injuries, kept her from pursuing gymnastics any further.

After her freshman year, Kathleen returned to Texas to study Wildlife Biology at Texas Tech university. During college, she worked at a Quail research facility, where she had the opportunity to travel to some of the biggest ranches in Texas, including the famous Four Sixes Ranch.

After meeting and becoming engaged to her (now) husband, she moved to East Texas to be closer to him and completed her college career online through Tarleton State University and earned a Bachelor of Science.

Kathleen and her husband now live on a small East Texas ranch where they train dogs for waterfowl hunting and selling ranch real estate. She is excited to work with new or experienced landowners, and to share with them her own extensive knowledge and experience.
