Thomas launched his professional career in the energy sector as a Petroleum Landman.Thomas eventually worked his way to Texas, after an internship and experience in the Marcellus Shale play, to a position in the Eagle Ford Shale region focusing primarily on curing title defects and executing affidavits of use & possession, before transitioning to Houston, where he gained many more years experience drafting mineral ownership reports, as a Oil, Gas, Mineral Lease hound, tite examiner, and a right-of-way agent. He honed his negotiation skills and developed a knack for building relationships while traversing rural landscapes and engaging with mineral and surface owners firsthand.

Driven by a desire for new challenges, Thomas pivoted to the commercial construction industry, where he thrived as a Regional Sales Manager. His territory spanned across vibrant cities like Miami, Orlando, Nashville, and Atlanta, with a primary focus on the expansive landscape of Texas. Managing the North Texas market with a team of sales representatives, Thomas demonstrated his leadership skills, desire to coach and train personnel, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Despite his success in various industries, Thomas’s heart remained rooted in the Texas soil. His unwavering commitment to rural real estate led him to pursue a career in farm and ranch brokerage, where he found his true calling. With a keen understanding of land stewardship and a unique expertise in wetlands and stream mitigation, Thomas approaches each transaction with a holistic perspective and a genuine passion for helping clients achieve their goals.
