About Gene

Gene is an avid outdoorsman, hunter and horseman whose connection to the land has shaped both his lifestyle and his career. After spending well over a decade in South Central Texas, he built a deep foundation of hands-on experience as a ranch owner, cattleman, racehorse breeder, hunter and dedicated wildlife enthusiast. He now lives in Whitesboro, Texas, where he relocated to be closer to family and to immerse himself more fully in the horse-focused lifestyle that North Texas is known for.

Gene brings clients practical knowledge rooted in real ownership and firsthand experience, including ranch management, brush ecology, wildlife habitat, pond and pasture management, water and mineral rights. His background gives him a grounded understanding of the land and the many factors that shape its value, use and long-term potential.

With more than a decade of farm and ranch real estate experience, Gene is known for steady communication, practical guidance and a genuine commitment to the people he represents. Whether working with buyers or sellers, he approaches each transaction with the perspective of someone who understands the land not only as a broker, but as someone who has lived it.

Client Reviews

“I have had the pleasure of working with Gene Palmieri on our last two ranch transactions. The first was a small ranch in Medina County where Gene was representing the seller and we were being represented by long-term friend and broker, John Fambrough. Gene was an absolute professional through the entire process and was extremely responsive to our questions and concerns. My wife Kelly and I felt an immediate connection to Gene and were convinced that he was someone that we could trust. About a year after closing on the Medina County property, we lost our dear friend John Fam brought to a long-term illness. When we decided that we needed a larger ranch, we immediately contacted Gene and asked him to represent us in our search. We felt that his character and work ethic were a fitting tribute to Mr. John and we were not disappointed. After many miles and a lot of patience on Gene’s part, he directed us to our dream ranch in Goliad County. We can’t say enough about Gene and would highly recommend him to anyone searching for that perfect Texas ranch like we were. Not only is he a great ranch realtor but has become a great and trusted friend
