Keith Rand

Keith Rand, a proud native of Groesbeck, Texas, has dedicated his entire life to the cattle and ranching business while nurturing a profound love for hunting and the great outdoors. He remains rooted in Groesbeck, where he resides with his wife JJ, daughter Kylie, and son Bryce.

With a diverse background in the ranching and cattle industry, Keith has garnered valuable experience in various facets of the field. He began by selling farming equipment with Dixon Industries and Great Plains Manufacturing before embarking on a two-year tenure as a Farm Bureau insurance sales agent. Keith’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Vaquero Energy Services, a thriving oilfield service company that employed nearly 300 individuals until the industry crash in 2018. Additionally, in 2008, he co-founded the highly acclaimed television show “Pigman the Series” on the Sportsman channel. The show has since become the most-watched outdoor TV program, boasting a dedicated following. While Keith’s involvement in the series is now minimal, his contributions have been significant.

Presently, Keith is the Ranch Manager for Union Hill Ranches in Kopperal, Texas, overseeing a vast property spanning 10,000 acres and home to Angus and Wagyu cattle. In this role, he utilizes his extensive knowledge and experience to ensure the smooth operations and success of the ranch.

Furthermore, Keith operates a 200-head cow/calf operation in Groesbeck alongside his wife and children. He also manages Nutricion de la Frontera, also known as Border Nutrition, specializing in cattle and deer feed and animal nutrition in both Texas and Mexico. As a Superior Livestock representative, Keith effectively markets cattle through video and internet sales across the nation. In addition to his ventures, he owns T4R Services, a small oilfield service company operating in south and west Texas. In 2008, driven by his passion for hunting, Keith established Last Frontier Outfitters, offering exceptional trophy Whitetail, hog, and exotic hunts throughout South Texas and the brush country of Mexico.

Keith eagerly continues to pursue and expand upon his passion in the ranching and hunting industries by assisting clients in purchasing and developing their ranch programs and operations. Leveraging his extensive experience, vast knowledge, and a well-established network in the cattle and hunting ranching industries, Keith proves to be an invaluable asset in the realm of ranch sales.
