Courtney, originally from Marion, Texas, has fond memories of spending mosquito-filled nights along Texas riverbanks with her dad, trying to reel in the biggest catfish. Raised in the outdoors, she watched her grandpa run a bait house on Choke Canyon Lake and was taught to shoot and hunt from an early age. Today, Courtney lives along the scenic Devils River in Del Rio with her husband, Austen, and their daughter, where they continue to explore the vast landscape of West Texas and its rich history. She still enjoys kayaking the Devils River and reeling in big fish right from her own backyard.
Courtney graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2012 with a B.S. in Public Relations. After college, she spent a decade working in chemical sales in the oil and gas industry. This experience gave her a deep understanding of complex land transactions, particularly when it comes to mineral rights and royalty agreements.
Together with her husband, Courtney runs Ranch Hand On Demand, a ranch services business based in Del Rio. This business is a perfect fit for her real estate clients who purchase hunting properties but need assistance maintaining their ranches. Whether it’s servicing feeders or prepping hunting cabins, Courtney ensures her clients’ operations run smoothly year-round. For Courtney, closing day with her clients is just the beginning of a lasting relationship.
In addition to her ranching and real estate ventures, Courtney is a passionate Second Amendment advocate. She travels across Texas managing public relations and marketing for the family business, Texas Gun Shows, where she helps promote the state’s premier gun events.
