Richard Hood is a seasoned expert in cattle industry marketing and beef cattle ranching with over 30 years of experience. Raised on a diversified family farm and ranch, Richard’s upbringing immersed him in agriculture, where he was involved in producing cattle, swine, hay, working horses, and watermelons.

In his professional journey, Richard advanced to become Vice-President of Marketing for Ultimate Genetics, an affiliate of Camp Cooley Ranch, a prominent name in cattle ranching. His career continued to flourish as he co-founded American Marketing Services, LLC, which grew to become a leading seedstock beef cattle marketing auction firm in the southern United States for over 15 years.

Today, Richard continues his work in cattle marketing and sales while also serving clients in real estate. He holds a real estate license, enabling him to offer comprehensive services to ranchers and farmers. Richard’s commitment to agriculture and land stewardship led him to join Texas Ranch Sales, LLC, where he aims to deliver exceptional service and tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.

Richard resides in Robertson County, Texas, near Bryan/College Station. He maintains a broad client base and buyer portfolio across the state, demonstrating his extensive reach and dedication to the Texas ranching community.
