Vance Runnels

Vance is a native of Medina County and has lived near Hondo since graduating from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Services and Development in 1992.

He began his professional career working in the livestock and farm equipment magazine business as an advertising representative including Gulf Coast Cattleman magazine and Texas Farmer Stockman magazine.

Vance has been a licensed auctioneer since 1994. He has extensive experience selling livestock, farm and ranch equipment and automotive auctions. In addition, as the exclusive auctioneer for the Texas Deer Association for the past 20 years, he has sold more Whitetail Deer at auction in the state of Texas than any other auctioneer.

He and his family also operate a cow/calf ranching enterprise focusing on the production of show steers and heifers.

Vance has almost 30 professional years of experience with the ranching, farming and wildlife industries and brings a unique perspective to Texas Ranch Sales.
